Partner at Bain & Company

Dave Crabbe is a Partner at Bain & Company. He focuses on the industrial sector and supports corporate clients on a range of topics spanning strategy, M&A, performance improvement, and organization design and effectiveness. Dave is also the global solution leader for Bain’s suite of Leadership products, focused on helping senior executives and top teams learn to operate at full potential. He has been with the firm for 15 years. 

Prior to joining Bain, Dave served on active duty in the Marines for 6 years. He completed two combat deployments to Iraq between 2005 and 2007 before exiting the service to go to business school. 

In the Marines, Dave learned to love and care for his Marines completely. To put his Marines first and care deeply about the whole person. This is the essence of what is expected of leaders in the Marines. His passion today is bringing that same form of leadership to his teams and mentees at Bain – striving to reflect the love of the Father on all around him and pour his life into theirs. 

Dave received his B.S. from the United States Naval Academy and his MBA from Harvard. 

Dave and his wife Molly (a former Navy helicopter pilot) have been married for 20 years. Together they have 4 children ranging in age from 14 to 5.
